As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Technical team and help ensure our products meet both customer and regulatory expectations. The Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving food quality, safety, and compliance standards at our Battersea site. You’ll carry out daily quality checks, support investigations, and work closely with production teams to promote best practices and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Conduct daily quality assurance checks (e.g., temperature control, calibration, online verification, taste panels, and environmental monitoring). Carry out sampling for product and environmental testing, ensuring accurate lab submissions. Support production teams with documentation, training, and GMP compliance. Maintain technical records, calibration logs, and internal audit schedules. Investigate and document non-conformances, complaints, and supplier issues, following up on corrective actions. Support pest control, hygiene, and BRC/customer audit requirements. Apply Hold/Reject/Release procedures where necessary. Provide cover and support for other QA team members and deputise for the QA Manager as required. About You We’re looking for someone proactive, detail-focused, and passionate about food quality. You’ll be confident working across departments and able to communicate clearly with both technical and operational teams. Ideally, you’ll have: Experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance. Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards (BRC experience desirable). Strong organisational and communication skills. Competence with data recording and documentation control.
