Vehicle Delivery Co‑ordinator Vertu Head Office, Gateshead £23,809 basic salary plus bonus (OTE £26,810) This is a vital position supporting the operations of the Group Fleet team. The role holder will be responsible for managing vehicle deliveries and associated administration to support key account customers and sales executives. You’ll ensure all vehicle delivery processes run smoothly while maintaining excellent communication with both customers and internal teams. The role is key to ensuring customers are kept fully updated on their deliveries, stock movements are managed efficiently, and all vehicle‑related administration is accurate and compliant with internal processes and Lease Co/public sector SLA requirements. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and track vehicle orders accurately through to delivery. Provide regular updates and reports to customers and sales executives regarding vehicle status and delivery timelines. Manage stock availability and ensure timely offering to prevent delays or fully paid stock being held. Coordinate delivery calls, bookings, and transport/PDI instructions. Support invoice and debtor processes, ensuring documentation is complete and uploaded promptly. Escalate any issues, order holds, or process delays to the General Manager or relevant Key Account Manager. Maintain accurate administration records and uphold all process and compliance standards. Experience Required Previous experience in a vehicle administration, fleet administration, or sales support role within the motor trade is highly desirable. Experience liaising with dealership teams, leasing companies, or logistics providers. Proven ability to manage multiple administrative tasks within set deadlines. Essential Criteria Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Excel and other MS packages. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills. Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to work effectively within set processes and timelines.
