What You’ll Be Doing The Credit Controller will play a vital role in ensuring that Aged Debt is collected efficiently by ensuring client queries are swiftly resolved and credit limits remain intact. By maintaining a well-managed ledger, you will directly contribute to enabling our client’s efficient operation. This role requires 3 years of consistent B2B Credit Control experience and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and exceptional service. Responsibilities Build on existing relationships with clients to ensure Aged Debt is collected in a timely manner Maintain strong organisational and time management skills to manage workload and prioritise tasks Be highly PC literate with strong system skills and proficiency in financial software (Microsoft and accounting software) Investigate and resolve complex account queries Proactively manage and collect invoices through various communication channels Prioritise tasks effectively and work independently to manage multiple duties Communicate clearly and analyse information to support payment resolutions Collaborate with Management and Sales Teams to resolve payment disputes and enhance relationships Essential What you’ll bring to the Role Strong client relationship skills and a focus on timely debt collection Excellent organisational and time management capabilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/financial software Ability to investigate and resolve complex account queries Experience in managing invoices across multiple channels Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks Collaborative approach with Management and Sales to resolve disputes Preferred Working knowledge of Self Bills accounts Experience identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery Experience with Back Office Systems What We Can Offer You 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) + bank holidays Pension Health Assured Life Assurance Cycle to Work Scheme Awards and Long Service Recognition Spectrum life and Annual Pay Review Employee Referral Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 | Remote/Hybrid Based | Mon - Fri 8:30 - 17:00 Location: Otley (some in-office training may be required) What’s next?
