Join to apply for the Marketing Manager - UK Metals Expo role at Easyfairs We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our UK Metals Expo event team within our Manufacturing Portfolio to drive impactful marketing initiatives to support this industry-leading event. This role is full-time, hybrid and based in Twickenham 3 days per week with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. Required Qualifications Proven experience in marketing, ideally in events or a similar industry. Expertise in both digital and traditional marketing channels. Strong copywriting, content development, and project management skills. Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.). Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder, people and budget management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience and knowledge of the metals, manufacturing, and/or engineering industries. Enjoys networking and being sociable. Enjoys travelling. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for UK Metals Expo. Manage the full marketing lifecycle, from concept to execution, including audience targeting, content creation, and post-campaign analysis. Collaborate with event stakeholders, including sales teams and sponsors, to ensure alignment on goals and messaging. Digital Marketing Lead the development and optimisation of digital campaigns (including email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and PPC) to drive event awareness, registrations, and engagement. Oversee the management of event websites, ensuring they are regularly updated and optimised for SEO, user experience, and lead generation. Content Creation & Management Develop compelling and engaging content tailored to the event's target audience, including promotional materials, press releases, blogs, and case studies. Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers as needed to produce high-quality creative content. Data-Driven Decision Making Track and analyse marketing campaign performance using metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Utilise CRM systems and marketing automation tools to segment, nurture, and engage audiences effectively. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including exhibitors, partners, media, and industry associations. Work closely with the events team to ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless marketing experience. Budget Management Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that spend is aligned with strategic priorities and delivers a strong return on investment. Team Support Provide practical support to junior team members, including Marketing Executives, Assistants and Interns, by modelling good practice and helping them coordinate tasks, progress campaigns, maintain community connections and deliver successful events.
