In this role, you’ll lead strategic research initiatives, mentor a growing Design and Research team to help mature processes and deliver insights that directly influence product direction and business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifying the prioritising effort around the biggest opportunities and risks over different timescalesMentor Researchers, designers and embed best practices across the product organisationPlan and execute end-to-end user research using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., data analysis, usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, etc.)Support team members when it comes to gathering, analysing, synthesising research data, and presenting or applying insights to the team's workTranslate research findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to stakeholders at various levelsDevelop and maintain research documentation, personas, journey maps, and other artefacts.Maintain and continue to develop a centralised user research repositoryContribute to the development of internal research processes, a centralised repository, and best practicesSkills7+ years’ UX research experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of how research has driven business impactQualitative Research mastery across the discovery and evaluative phases of the design process using a varied methodologyMix method insight development, triangulating different sources from data, interviews and desk research to build more confidence around product directionComfortable with User testing and data analysis tools like UserTesting, Maze, Tableau and analyticsAbility to frame complex concepts simply and clearly, adapting for different audiences and organisational levelsCreate compelling evidence narratives that support a diverse range of customers and users over multiple geographiesExperienced at driving Research vision and strategy on a global level and developing team standards in an emerging practiceCuriosity and EmpathyCritical thinking and pattern recognitionExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsComfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesThe Interview ProcessOnline interview with the Senior Talent Partner. This should last no longer than 40 minutesOnline interview and talk through a User Research case study with the Head of Product Design and a User ResearcherFinal interview with the Head of Product Design and Product DirectorBe comfortable.
