Academics Canterbury is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly respected Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Whitstable. This exceptional school specialises in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting with learning activities and fostering a positive learning environment Work closely with teaching staff to create specific learning plans catered to individual pupils Maintain a positive attitude that will motivate the children you work with What we're looking for Experience working with children, ideally within a SEN setting/ SEMH background Passion, empathy and desire for working with children with Special Educational Needs A strong communicator who is able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils A willingness to learn and grow Experience or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students 90 - 100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship On site parking included SEN Teaching Assistant - experienced OR aspiring Apply now or contact Ollie Mynard at Academics Ltd Become a SEN Teaching Assistant today Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will have to apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check where appropriate #J-18808-Ljbffr
