Established In 1975 Delden Cranes is a specialist crawler crane hire company based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire that operates across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Our highly-skilled team of engineers has over 300 years’ experience of working with crawler cranes and can repair, service and maintain your crane either in-house, on site, or at your premises.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Administrator to support the management of crawler crane hire operations. This position serves as a vital link between technical and administrative functions, ensuring precise record-keeping, efficient scheduling, and seamless coordination of technical activities. You will liaise with crane operator agencies to schedule operators for projects, verify inductions, and confirm security clearances. Additional responsibilities include assisting with lift plan preparation and arranging transport for crawler crane mobilization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Coordinate with site teams to schedule and manage crane operators, ensuring completion of inductions and verification of security clearances.

* Provide support in preparing lift plans and method statements.

* Maintain and manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

* Communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

* Assist with yard operations loading and unloading transport.

* Ensure proper filing, version control, and accuracy of technical drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in construction coordination or administrative support within technical projects.

* Solid understanding of construction workflows, processes, and safety regulations.

* Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design and drafting tools.

A successful candidate will:

* Familiarity with lifting operations and the use of heavy plant equipment.

* Understanding of lift plans, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.

* Genuine interest in engineering and a desire to build a career in crawler crane operations.
