Application Support Manager – Investments London, United Kingdom Permanent role within the IT Operations and Service Delivery team. The role As the Investment IT Application Support Manager you will lead the support and stability of our core investment platforms and applications. Your objective is to ensure that investment teams have reliable, high‑performing systems and that investment data remains reliable, timely and of high quality. You will act as a critical link between Investment Business and Technology, directing all activities within Investment IT Operations toward delivering value to scheme members. You will drive efficiency, solve problems, and propose innovative solutions that improve user satisfaction and business outcomes. You will also manage a team of six application support and data analysts. The person We seek a candidate with substantial experience leading front‑office investment application support and data management teams. You should have a proven track record in managing vendor relationships and supporting investment trading or data applications. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure, Windows Server/OS, job scheduling and application/monitoring tools is essential. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring and the promotion of best practices are required. You should be able to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems, communicate effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences, and build credible, trust‑based relationships. Agility, focus and purpose‑driven execution will be expected.
