We invite you to turn your passion into a rewarding career with us The Job Role Working within the Dell Client Product Management team you will take ownership of the Dell Workstation business. Managing the relationships with the vendor category managers and account managers, as well as having direct contact with the top Workstation customers. Be the main contact within Westcoast on the Dell Workstation portfolio, offering an overlay and support to the general sales teams. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, have a positive mindset, be proactive in their work, ambitious to grow and to learn while showing an excellent attention to detail. It will be your responsibility to give confidence to both customers and internal sales teams on how to position a Dell Workstation solution. You will be required to become a resident expert on the Dell portfolio and understand the features and benefits to both resellers and end users. Candidates will ideally have a background in IT distribution and with an interest in high end computing. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include Develop key stake holder relationships internally and externally (including key resellers) to effectively deliver growth plans. Effectively manage the forecast and planning of stock profiles, business plans and customer commercials. Support Westcoast sales teams as a product overlay. Regular engagement with Vendors contacts, including external visits. Actively work and promote vendor priorities. Maintain and develop the go to market tools. Proactively drive Dell Workstation sales and build a strong pipeline of opportunities. Engage with our marketing team to ensure we are promoting well into the channel. Be the product expert on the Dell portfolio and be confident to train Westcoast sales to be self-sufficient where possible. Attend any Vendor training or events where relevant. Support the Client team on overall Dell or Workstation business where required. Skills Previous experience in sales or product management. Experience of working within IT channel (desirable). Proactive Account Management. Able to work well under pressure. Experience of conducting client visits (desirable). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A strong and disciplined attitude to work. Computing knowledge would be beneficial. Confident decision maker. Good knowledge of Word, Excel and mail packages. What’s in It for You?
