We are looking for 8 Technical Operators to join an FMCG manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port. These positions are all permanent from day 1, starting salary just over GBP 34,500 per annum, with internal salary reviews. You’ll need a minimum of 3 years experience in the FMCG sector (Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Print, Plastics or Pharmaceutical) and be available to start ASAP. Work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12‑hour days and nights) with hours 6 am–6 pm / 6 pm–6 am. The onboarding process includes an online SHL assessment, a site interview and a full factory tour. What You Will Do Operate and monitor production lines to ensure smooth and efficient running, meeting or exceeding targets. Conduct line checks to maintain high‑quality product standards and ensure specifications are adhered to. Perform minor machine adjustments and fault finding to minimise downtime. Follow clean‑down procedures and adhere to GMP standards during downtime. Maintain accurate documentation and records as directed by supervisors. Promote and uphold health and safety standards, ensuring equipment checks and housekeeping standards are maintained. What You Will Bring Experience in an FMCG production environment, ideally with large machinery or ancillary equipment. Confidence in making minor machine adjustments and fault finding. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a small team. A commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and timekeeping. This role is integral to achieving the company’s goals of efficiency, quality, and safety.
