About the Role As a Leadership Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our regulatory officers and managers. You’ll help ensure our team has the systems, training, and administrative support needed to deliver high-quality outcomes for Oxfordshire. This is a varied and dynamic position—perfect for someone who enjoys new challenges and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll: Lead the administration and issuing of licences for products such as explosives, petroleum, and our trader scheme. Use your strong IT skills to manage data, run reports, and analyse information. Help our officers and apprentices in their role by supporting the service and individuals with recognising, sourcing, and administration of training needs. Provide stand‑in financial and administrative support. Work primarily from our Oxford office, with opportunities to work at home and elsewhere. About You We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated professional who is: Organised, efficient, and works to high accuracy in their work. Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management skills. Good at prioritising their workload. A strong communicator and a natural collaborator, since you will be, for example, working across the service and with businesses. Trustworthy, practical, adaptable and a strong work ethic. Very experienced with management systems since it plays a vital part in our work. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring it is maintained.
