We are now recruiting for a Purchasing and Planning Graduate to maintain and support our forward‑looking planning function across our product range. Responsibilities Be involved in order inputting, liaising with Sales on delivery dates, agree delivery dates prior to Order Input Interact between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions Maximise use of the order management system and ensure visibility of all orders Produce and publish metrics as required Maximise our Shipping Performance and achieves our On‑time Delivery Goals Take ownership of, and plan all products through Manufacturing Cells Identify critical items and issues, and resolve them Investigate available capacity vs. likely load Support function for team members in production and purchasing during absences Essential Qualifications Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to make decisions within guidelines and take responsibility for these is essential Ability to meet time frames and work under pressure is important Good analytical and numeracy skills Strong systems and Excel knowledge Desirable Qualifications ERP planning experience Production planning system experience Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX Previous exposure working in a manufacturing and assembly organisation Engineering competence in relation to machining and assembly and a suitable level of product and organisational familiarisation is a distinct advantage Business administration qualification.
