The Opportunity Were looking for a Supplier Quality Control Engineer to join our Supply Chain Team . This is a pivotal role supporting the Procurement Manager and ensuring all purchased components meet Eminoxs strict quality and regulatory standards . Youll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive performance, reduce defects, and deliver continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities Supplier Quality Management : Assess, qualify, and audit suppliers to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards; manage corrective actions and long-term quality improvement plans. Quality Control & Inspection : Implement robust incoming inspection processes; review PPAP documentation; ensure APQP tools are properly applied. Problem Solving & Improvement : Lead investigations using 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa methods; support cost reduction and defect prevention initiatives. Compliance & Reporting : Maintain supplier KPIs, dashboards, and reports; support audits, customer visits, and compliance reviews as the supplier quality expert. What Youll Bring Proven experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering , ideally within the automotive or engineered products sector. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and automotive quality systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
