Role

As a Senior Project Manager in Leicester, you will oversee the delivery of major industrial and logistics projects, taking responsibility for project leadership from inception through to completion. You’ll be instrumental in planning, stakeholder management, programme delivery, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety and quality standards.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll provide mentorship and leadership, helping to develop capability and maintain the company’s reputation for technical excellence and client service.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Project Manager in construction to lead large-scale builds while shaping project outcomes, mentoring teams and contributing to business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of major industrial and logistics projects from inception to completion.

Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Chair client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring communication and issue resolution.

Oversee budgets, programmes, procurement, and risk management.

Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, ISO, and health & safety standards.

Administer NEC and JCT contracts effectively.

*

Support business development, bids, and client presentations.

Mentor and develop junior and mid-level project managers.

*

Report progress, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements.

Experienced Senior Project Manager within a construction consultancy.

Strong background in industrial and logistics projects.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder, and client management skills.

Delivery-focused with strong commercial awareness.

Proficient in NEC and JCT contracts.

Degree in Construction or Project Management desirable.

Full UK driving licence essential.
