Job Overview GPs – are you looking for a new salaried position? We have GP vacancies at West End Medical Centre, a modern practice located in Colwyn Bay, Conwy County. The practice serves 18,400 patients and is part of a recently merged group of GP, nursing, physiotherapy and pharmacy teams. Recruiting is underway for other health professionals such as Advanced Practice Paramedics and Physician Associates. Main Duties of the Job The post holder will be expected to undertake normal duties and responsibilities associated with GP work within a primary care setting. In a coordinated practice timetable, the post holder will manage a variety of tasks: telephone, video and email consultations, home visits, advising other care professionals, handling queries, paperwork, referrals and clinical governance tasks. They will make professional, autonomous decisions on presenting problems – including diagnosis and management – and seek senior advice when appropriate. They will also screen patients for disease risk factors, early signs of illness, risk factors and promote public health initiatives.
