Calibration Technician

Location: Telford Service Centre Rate: £22 per hour (via umbrella) Contract: 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension) Hours : 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday Are you looking to grow your engineering career and develop deeper expertise in calibration and test? As a Calibration Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, developing valuable skills and contributing to high‑quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities Performing routine calibration, validation, and minor repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment Working with instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, torque tools, and other high‑accuracy test devices Collaborating closely with senior engineers in a structured, quality‑driven environment Supporting internal teams and customers to ensure smooth and timely service What We’re Looking For 1–2 years’ experience in calibration, electronics, testing, or similar technical environments Familiarity with test and measurement equipment; basic troubleshooting skills are an advantage Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work Good communication skills and a proactive mindset Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance Why Join?
