Quality Technician

In this role, you will getto develop your technical and people skills while maintaining existing quality procedures to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 working to implement new Health & Safety and Environmental ISO accreditations.
This is an exciting position for an individual to enhance existing and learn further skills to become a valued member of a dedicated team. You will be responsible for assisting in implementation and maintenance of all quality documentation, procedures, testingand control of the manufacturing process.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor inspection processes and procedures to ensure quality checks are performed according to item specifications and customer requirements
- Ensure existing ISO 90001, 14001 and 45001 procedures and records are maintained
- Improve and develop existing and new procedures to enhance and enable the company to move forward
- Complete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and validated, safety during operation of equipment
- Assist with the training of new recruits, teaching the specifications, standards, and regulations standards
- Use the appropriate tools and techniques of root cause analysis and corrective action
- Experience of working in an ISO environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical abilities with good attention to detail.
- Previous quality assurance experience preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Engineering background preferred but not essential
- Be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Knowledge of Goods Returns and Non-Conformance Reports preferred but not essential

**Salary**: Circa £25000 per annum plus a profit related quarterly bonus
Hours: Flexible 40 hours per week between 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
