Consultant Psychiatrist: Eating Disorders Based in the Bromley, Kent area of Greater London, United Kingdom, this role is with one of the UK’s leading private hospitals treating addictions and general psychiatric conditions, with an accredited eating disorder service. As the Consultant Psychiatrist you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated, and collaborate across inpatient and outpatient settings to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. Responsibilities Play a key role in patient recovery by supporting assessment and care planning. Serve as Consultant and Responsible Clinician, leading multidisciplinary collaboration. Assess and manage complex cases, chair MDT/CPA meetings, and liaise with patients, families, and external stakeholders. Provide clinical leadership alongside the Ward Manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards. Contribute to governance and quality improvement through participation in ward, CAMHS, and service development meetings. Engage in academic activities including teaching, case presentations, audit, research, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications Full GMC registration. Specialist Register status with a CCT or CESR in General Adult Psychiatry or Eating Disorders. Approved Clinician status. Salary: £170,000 – £180,000 pro rata.
