We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Huntercombe, a category C Prison located in Oxfordshire. HMP Huntercombe is a male prison housing 520 foreign nationals. We are recruiting for a Bank Pharmacy Assistant to support the wide Pharmacy team consisting of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. Job Summary UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE Hours & Salary Shift patterns are Monday–Friday 07:45–17:30 / Weekends 08:30–16:30. The hourly rate is £15.80 per hour. Qualifications Required NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent / currently working towards Medicines handling experience desirable but not essential Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent A non‑judgmental and compassionate approach Excellent communication skills Good IT skills and IT literacy Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures Career Development Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
