Group Financial Controller

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting an ambitious, high-growth technology business in the appointment of a Group Financial Controller.
This is a well know organisation with global operations across on an exciting growth trajectory, offering the successful candidate a pivotal leadership role with exposure to the executive team and future progression opportunities.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership position with full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the group finance function and a small, capable team. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial governance to support strategic decision-making and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and develop a small, capable finance team, fostering a great team environment.
* Take ownership for the production of consolidated group management accounts across several international entities.
* Drive the monthly forecasting process, alongside detailed sales, margin and overhead analysis.
* Maintain strong balance sheet control and oversee working capital and cash flow management.
* Work closely with senior leadership on project appraisals and key business cases.
* Manage the year-end process, including audit and preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS.
* Oversee tax compliance, treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
* Act as ERP super-user, helping to automate and streamline processes across the finance function.
About You
We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical skills, excellent leadership capability, and the confidence to operate as a trusted business partner. You’ll bring:
* Experience overseeing finance operations across several complex global entities.
* Strong commercial awareness, able to interpret financial performance and shape strategic decisions.
* Skilled at building relationships across non-financial and financial stakeholders.
