**Role Purpose**

The IT Project Manager has overall responsibility for various internal IT/Business Projects of varying scale and scope. As IT Project Manager, you will be required to deliver these projects successfully to meet time, quality and cost targets, realising measurablebenefits and thereby ensuring satisfied stakeholders and providing a foundation for IT Business Systems to build upon.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE), quality and best practice requirements.
- To keep up to date with developments in areas relevant to role.
- To understand the scope of project work, and resources, to ensure that the systems can be delivered to agreed timings.
- To produce the relevant project management documentation and support the relevant milestones during project delivery in line with the IT Project Implementation Methodology (IT-PIM).
- To create and manage project timing plans, to ensure that projects stay on track to agreed timings, and any deviations are captured and understood.
- To collaborate openly with IT Systems Developers, IT Architecture and Security Team and all other relevant internal/external support functions to ensure solution compatibility, feasibility, and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain frequent and detailed communication with all members of the project team to always ensure clarity.
- Proactively manage unforeseen project risks and mitigate issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions and reporting to the stakeholders the resolution or mitigation agreed.
- Proactively manage any changes to project scope using established change management process
- Provide regular and timely reporting of project progress using ITPIM process to the project sponsors, stakeholders and Head of IT Business Systems
- Execute the ITPM Post Implementation Review process to ensure lessons learnt are tracked and to maximise learning from all projects during and after the execution, carrying out an internal review with the delivery team and actively seeking feedback fromthe stakeholder; implement any corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.

**Skills**:

- The jobholder will be able to demonstrate a technical background with experience of managing multiple project-based activities and have exposure to delivering systems/software solutions in a highly regulated environment.
- Be adept at managing and mitigating risk and have prior knowledge of project management best practice.
- Financially adept; understand the concepts of budget control and is experienced in financial reporting and is versed in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to communicate.
- Have an awareness of APM and Agile Project Management methodologies

- Stakeholder management
- On time delivery of technical, multidisciplinary projects
- Controlling multiple concurrent projects - Managing and exceeding customer expectations
- Understands project management process
- An IT industry background and awareness of technology
