Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, adaptable, flexible and skilled Band 3 Mobile Clinical Support Services Coordinator to work 29 hours a week over 5 days based at Teddington Memorial Hospital and Teddington Health and Social Care Centre as well as across other Richmond sites. The role of the Mobile Clinical Support Services Coordinator is to assist with the day‑to‑day running across all the Richmond sites, supporting not only colleagues but clients and visitors to the site as well. Key responsibilities include receiving visitors, forwarding telephone calls, processing orders, reporting faults, covering across sites, and providing front‑line support. The role does not support working from home. Working Hours: 29 hours a week over 5 days. Contract: Permanent part‑time. Salary: £29,651 to £31,312 per annum (pro‑rata). Band: 3. Main Duties The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending the sites and is expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, care, courtesy and respect when greeting patients and visitors. Operate the switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate extension, record messages as required and provide telephone assistance. Receive, forward and process orders and mail, and report any faults to the relevant parties until resolution. Cover cross‑site responsibilities to ensure the sites are covered during staff absence and annual leave. Act as the liaison point for maintenance requests to the Estates Department and outside contract services. Assist in ensuring that Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed within the clinic/department setting and serve as Fire Co‑ordinator. Help coordinate patient transport to and from the unit, liaising with therapy staff, patients and ambulance services. Maintain the ordering and replenishment of stationery and stock, accepting deliveries and ensuring proper storage. Keep the unit tidy and facilitate smooth organisation of clinic sessions with clerical support. Participate in training and development and support the Administrator in implementing new systems and procedures. Collaborate with all administrative staff within the Trust to promote teamwork and maintain a professional service for the public and staff. Any other duties as requested by the Clinical Support Services Officer/Administrator. Person Specification Essential Qualifications: GCSE level or equivalent with Grade C or above in English and Maths. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Desirable Qualifications: Understanding of Data Protection issues, Customer Care training. Essential Experience: Demonstrable experience in an administrative environment with computerised data systems. Previous experience of effective team working. Desirable Experience: Experience of using NHS database systems; previous NHS or public sector experience. Essential Skills: IT skills, particularly Windows applications; good written and verbal communication; excellent time‑management and organisational skills; ability to work unsupervised and under pressure. Desirable Skills: Excellent time‑management and organisational skills; commitment to Trust values. Essential Personal Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills, tact and discretion about confidential matters, initiative, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
