Role Overview Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a full‑time Welfare Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all learners and apprentices, supporting the college‑wide Safeguarding and Prevent strategies. We will consider flexible working options, such as part time or job share. Please include details of any requests in your supporting statement; we would be happy to discuss this further at interview. In November 2024 the college was officially commended as “Good with outstanding features” by Ofsted. Our mission is “Inclusion, realising potential; transforming lives”. Qualifications Suitable candidates will hold a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including Maths and English, and a Level 3 qualification. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding principles and mental health awareness, or have successfully completed relevant training in these areas.
