In this role, you will be contributing to driving underwriting performance, analysing key trends, and supporting the development of the fleet underwriting team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, brokers, and the wider underwriting team to ensure risk assessment and pricing decisions align with business objectives.**Key Responsibilities*** Working within agreed risk appetite to quote on **incoming new business Fleet risks and renewals**.* Support the development of **Fleet underwriting strategies, philosophies, and procedures**.* Develop and maintain strong **relationships with key supporting brokers**; where required, conduct face-to-face meetings in collaboration with the Business Development Team.* Work cross-functionally to **maximise Fleet business opportunities** and drive growth.* Focus on **costs, process improvements, and efficiencies** to enhance the profitability of KGM.**Key Skills & Experience*** Underwriting experience within **Fleet** in retail and/or the wholesale market.* Analytical mindset with the ability to **interpret performance data and make strategic recommendations**.* Excellent communication skills, with confidence in delivering insights to senior stakeholders.* Strong relationship management skills, with experience in **broker engagement and business development**.* Proactive and commercially minded, with a focus on **efficiency and profitability**.* Knowledge of **claims handling** and its impact on underwriting decisions.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Be part of a leading **specialist insurance provider** known for innovation and client-focused solutions.* Work in a dynamic and **collaborative environment** with opportunities for career growth.* Competitive salary and benefits package.* Hybrid working model with **4 days in the Romford office or London** to promote collaboration and engagement.If you are a **driven and analytical Fleet Underwriter** looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from youA career that you define.
