Overview Job title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £56,766+ depending on experience Responsibilities Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities Contribute to the selection of the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis, engaging and collaborating with operational stakeholders Define and manage scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity Facilitate input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements Contribute to the delivery of the Product Management requirements within the business, relating to IT enabled opportunities, as well as representing the businesses best interests with the customer base and BAE Systems globally Your skills and experiences Essential: British Computer Society Diploma in Business Analysis A proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Experience of business process modelling and utilising appropriate requirements management tools Requirements definition and management experience Desirable: Experience of mentoring, coaching and managing a small team Benefits As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. Digital Data & Infrastructure (DD&I) Service Delivery Team As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and supporting a diverse portfolio of projects within our Architecture Practice, with a focus on the Air sector. This is a dynamic, role where no two days are the same. You will work across the full product lifecycle, shaping solutions that meet customer needs, enable strategic objectives, and deliver real operational value. You’ll be at the heart of identifying business challenges, analysing operational requirements, and delivering effective, practical solutions through both automated and non-automated process improvements. You will also have the opportunity to undertake advanced modelling to support major change programmes, helping to shape the future direction of the organisation. In this role, you will influence and improve practices, processes, and standards, while championing localised quality improvements across systems and services. Working across the entire Air sector business unit, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of functions—including engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and our military customers, giving you exceptional exposure and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
