**Overview**:
**Due to growth across our portfolio of products and services, we have several opportunities for Data Analysts at various levels in the UK Region to support a number of key programmes including Hawk, Typhoon & the 6**th Generation fighter Tempest.As an IM&T Data Analyst within the Air Sector, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of business-critical programmes & services presenting you with an ideal opportunity to further your career.

Air IM&T is ideally placed to influence current and future product delivery whilst driving business transformation, implementing new processes and where appropriate harnessing emergent technologies to maximise the success of the programmes we support. Ifsuccessful, you will play a digital role in delivering essential expertise related to core IM&T activities supporting the programmes and services using recognised methodologies and deliver to time, cost, and quality.

These roles present a unique opportunity to get on-board and be part of the next chapter of IM&T within the Air Sector giving you key exposure to some of the globes biggest Air Sector Defence programmes.

Business analysts act as the interface to gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with the users. They perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. Business Analystshave an analytical way of thinking and are able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

**Responsibilities**:
**Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions**

**Performing requirements analysis**

**Prioritizing initiatives and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements**

**Performing user acceptance testing**

**Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users**

**Essential Criteria**:

Recent, relevant technical experience in:

- Finance
- Engineering
- Banking
Infrastructure Background
Process Mapping - strong personality to drive this home
Requirements gathering
Workshops
User Stories
Scenarios
Stakeholder Management
Data collation from multiple workstreams
Agile / Kanban
ITIL / Lean Six Sigma / BCS
Engineering/ Manufacturing sectors

**Desirable Criteria**:
For Senior BA role:
Track record of driving projects to completion

Experience across highest level stakeholder management

Atlassian suite familiarity

Relevant Professional Qualification (BCAS, APM, Prince2, ITIL)

** Successful applicants will undergo SC vetting.
