Please assess your eligibility before applying. Visit https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa. Responsibilities Maintain the efficiency of radiotherapy equipment for patient treatment. Provide patient care by performing in‑vivo measurements during treatment. Keep records up to date for all aspects of the job in accordance with the quality system. Report any faults, potential or real, to senior members of staff. Plan radiotherapy treatments within the Pre‑Treatment Department. Create radiotherapy treatment plans using Eclipse. Liaise with radiographers, physicists and other technologists to ensure best use of time and resources. Communicate with patients and carers, providing help, advice and support concerning the radiotherapy process. Manage and adjust own workload on a day‑to‑day basis; prioritise work to be done. Use skills and experience to achieve the most accurate planning of a patient. Coordinate a TBI treatment from initial scan and test dose through to treatment, including in‑vivo measurements. Assist the team leader in managing the workload of the assigned work area. Work accurately to tight tolerances, manipulate fine tools, and maintain hand‑eye coordination under pressure. Operate treatment systems and other software programs using keyboard skills. Perform routine QA checks on all treatment machines; assist in non‑routine measurements and commissioning of new equipment. Perform routine in‑vivo measurements on patients during treatment.
