What We’re Looking For We want to connect with AI/ML Developers who demonstrate expertise in a broad range of core skills and experience, including but not limited to: Experience conducting user research for software or AI applications. Solid understanding of generative AI and large language models. Strong programming skills, including testing and debugging. Familiarity with agile development practices and modern software tools (e.g., Git/GitHub). Experience deploying AI/ML‑powered applications. Knowledge of AI/ML evaluation techniques, including safety and robustness testing. Familiarity with benchmarking and performance evaluation of ML models. Degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics) or equivalent professional experience. What You Might Be Doing As an AI/ML Developer at GSK, you could get involved with: Designing and implementing safety metrics for generative AI applications, especially those involving language models. Conducting user research to identify risks, failure modes, and usability challenges in AI‑powered systems. Integrating AI/ML components with frontend, backend, data pipelines, and compute infrastructure. Writing high‑quality, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews. Collaborating with data engineers and cross‑functional teams to build end‑to‑end ML pipelines. Delivering insights from generative AI datasets using ML and data analysis techniques.
