What We’re Looking For We want to connect with Cloud Engineers who demonstrate expertise in a broad range of core skills and experience, including but not limited to: Strong programming skills (ideally in Python) with experience in building scalable applications. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), including deployment and management of web applications. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (eg. Terraform), including best practices for modular development. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. pytest) and writing robust test suites. Proficient in DevOps tools and workflows (eg. CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub). Comfortable working in agile software development environments, with a focus on iterative delivery and collaboration. Background in computational, numerate, or life sciences is beneficial but not essential. What You Might Be Doing As a Cloud Engineer at GSK, you could get involved with: Developing and maintaining software and infrastructure for web applications. Integrating AI/ML components with frontend, backend, data, and compute infrastructure. Ensuring high-quality software delivery through automated testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices. Monitoring and improving key performance metrics for tools and services. Participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of team standards and practices. Collaborating with data engineers and technical staff across teams to build end-to-end data pipelines.
