We have an opportunity for a Sister Charge Nurse to join their team in the nursing department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Provide hands‑on clinical care acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients. Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix and continuity of care. Allocate and supervise staff during shifts ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met. Support the development, appraisal and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs and students. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards. Promote compliance with infection prevention, medication safety, safeguarding and other clinical governance priorities. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration. Significant post‑registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty. Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment. Strong clinical decision‑making, communication and coordination skills.
