Based at our Wolverhampton site, you'll rotate across key areas of the business — from managing critical materials and supplier relationships to leading improvement projects that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.You'll learn how to build strong supplier partnerships, manage contracts, monitor performance, and deliver value across complex global supply chains. Throughout the programme, you'll receive mentoring, structured training, and support towards professional accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).By the end of the scheme, you'll have developed the technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commercial awareness needed to progress into a permanent role within procurement, supplier performance, or supply chain management at Safran.Job ResponsibilitiesSupporting direct and indirect procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance.Managing supplier relationships and contributing to sourcing strategies and performance improvement plans.Assisting with supplier performance reviews, data analysis, and KPI reporting.Supporting continuous improvement and process excellence initiatives across the supply chain.Engaging with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and quality to align supply chain objectives.Participating in projects that drive cost reduction, sustainability, and innovation.Job RequirementsWhat will you bring to the role?A minimum 2:1 degree (or MSc/MA equivalent) in any discipline (2:2 considered with relevant experience).Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.A motivated, professional, and resilient mindset.Desirable skills:Experience or exposure to procurement, supply chain, or project-based environments.Understanding of commercial processes, data analysis, or ERP systems such as SAP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.An interest in sustainability and global logistics.A genuine interest in aerospace and supply chain management.Leadership potential and the ability to adapt to change.GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C (4) or above.About UsSafran is a global leader in aerospace and defence, trusted for our expertise in fly-by-wire, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic actuation systems.
