We’re looking for a Junior Operational Support Team (OST) Consultant to join our Defined Benefits team. What you'll be doing: Providing efficient administration and claims support to scheme members and stakeholders Calculating Defined Benefit quotations and ensuring documentation accuracy Supporting manual calculations for new and existing schemes Communicating clearly with customers and third parties to ensure understanding Applying current pensions legislation and best practice in all tasks Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures Acting as a point of contact for technical queries and supporting team knowledge Promoting good customer outcomes and supporting vulnerable customers Qualifications Who we're looking for: Understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and related legislation Experience in customer service or administration, ideally within financial services Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative approach and willingness to support team development A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement Pension qualifications (e.g. CII or PMI) or equivalent experience is desirable Benefits The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance- related bonus plan and valuable share schemes Generous pension contribution Life assurance Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only) At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years' service.
