Active Neuro isn’t just growing—we’re redefining what’s possible in neurorehabilitation.Apply now and be part of this groundbreaking journey.The role:As our Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will:Provide specialist assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditionsDevise and implement evidence-based therapy programmes, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomesMaintain high standards of clinical care, aligned with national best practice guidelines and professional standardsAct as a Key Worker, contributing to cohesive goal-setting, coordinated therapy planning, and smooth discharge processesSupervise and support junior team members, including therapy assistants and students, contributing to their development and clinical educationActively participate in internal training programmes, including staff induction, mandatory training, and multidisciplinary in-service sessionsAdhere to all relevant professional codes of practice, regulatory standards, and organisational policies to ensure safe and ethical practiceContribute to service audits, clinical evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomesSafeguard individuals, promoting their safety, wellbeing, and human rights at all timesAbout you:For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following:HCPC registrationTraining and competence in dysphagia managementPrevious experience of working in a neurorehabilitation settingConfidence in assessment, goal-setting, and delivering evidence-based interventionsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to delivering person-centred, outcome-driven careSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBSWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
