We’re working on behalf of a dynamic brand experience agency to find an exceptional Account Director for a maternity cover contract. This is a senior client service role where you’ll lead strategic accounts, inspire teams, and deliver standout work for global FMCG brands. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, creative environment where ambition, agility and impact are at the heart of everything. What you’ll be doing As Account Director, you’ll take full ownership of key client relationships, driving commercial growth and delivering category-leading campaigns. You’ll lead strategic planning, oversee creative execution, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll manage and inspire a talented account team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. You’ll be hands-on with client presentations, proposals, and campaign strategy, always looking for ways to push boundaries and challenge the status quo. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery across all touchpoints, both on and off-trade. Your ability to simplify complex ideas and bring creative thinking to the table will be key to success. What experience you’ll need to apply Proven experience in agency account leadership. Strong background in FMCG brand campaigns. Strategic thinker with excellent presentation skills. Ability to inspire and lead account teams. Commercially minded with a growth-focused approach. Confident managing senior client relationships. Highly organised with a can-do attitude. Experience across multiple channels and touchpoints. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment. What you’ll get in return for your experience This Account Director maternity cover role offers a salary of £45-55k depending on experience. You’ll receive 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, your birthday off, and a Christmas shutdown.
