Closing: 28/12/2025 23:59.Note: This job description originated from Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and may include additional NHS-specific statements and benefits.Main duties / ResponsibilitiesInitial administrative stage of patient triage assessment for all new podiatry patients.Provide full administrative support to various key functions within the podiatry service and/or clinical team.Assist with county-wide coverage of the Hot Foot Line (emergency telephone line and email account) from 9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri, 52 weeks per year, in collaboration with other post holders.Register referrals and respond to patient appointment queries via telephone or email.Support day-to-day operations of the countywide podiatry service administration team, which includes coordinating with clinicians and colleagues.What you will need to succeedGeneral office experience in a team environment.Experience using electronic and paper-based systems.NVQ or RSA 2 or equivalent experience; good general education including English and Maths (to GCSE or equivalent).Excellent communication and ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.Desirable: knowledge of RiO; healthcare/NHS administrative experience.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of data protection/confidentiality (essential).Ability to work as part of a team and support clinicians with administration.About the organisationWe are an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
