You’ll also play a key role in driving site‑wide engagement activities and contributing to meaningful People projects, ensuring our culture continues to grow stronger every day. Key Responsibilities of our People Advisor: Provide expert advice and feedback on employee relations and people policies, including reviewing and improving policies and processes, communicating changes to stakeholders Coach and develop managers on people‑related matters, providing on‑site training and guidance across key areas such as investigations, disciplinary processes, welfare meetings, appeals, grievances, and performance management Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance existing policies and procedures Support the development of a high‑performance culture by helping managers address poor performance effectively and enabling meaningful, outcome‑focused conversations Lead on driving a positive Colleague Experience by providing feedback to the wider People Team on the colleague lifecycle, promoting an inclusive and engaging culture, advocating for colleagues, and acting as a role model for our values Skills, Knowledge and Expertise needed of our People Advisor: Proven experience working in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial environment Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Strong background in managing employee relations cases and providing clear, practical guidance to managers Confident in handling challenging conversations and delivering constructive feedback CIPD Level 3 qualification (Level 5 or above would be advantageous) Benefits At Advanced, your journey begins with a warm welcome and a comprehensive onboarding experience designed to set you up for success from day one.
