Our client, an organisation undergoing rapid growth through strategic acquisitions, is seeking a high-impact HR Business Partner to join their Mergers & Acquisitions team. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy behind complex transactions and integrations. As a trusted recruitment partner, we’re looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, bring deep HR expertise, and have a strong commercial mindset. The Role You’ll be embedded within the M&A function, supporting the full deal lifecycle-from due diligence through to post-merger integration. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and stakeholder influence. This will be an FTC paying £70,000 Key Responsibilities: Lead HR workstreams across acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations. Conduct people-related due diligence and risk assessments. Advise on organisational design, talent retention, and cultural alignment. Navigate employment law, TUPE, and cross-border HR complexities. Collaborate with internal HR teams and external advisors to deliver seamless transitions. Drive change management and communication strategies during periods of transformation. Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and add immediate value. You’ll bring: Proven experience as an HRBP, ideally within M&A or transformation projects. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR operations across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail. Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities with confidence. Qualifications: Degree in HR, Business, or related field (CIPD preferred). 5+ years of HR experience, with exposure to M&A or organisational change.
