About the role VIVO Defence Services, a powerhouse joint venture between Serco and Equans, is seeking a dynamic and driven Void Supervisor to play a key part in delivering an ambitious 7-year housing maintenance contract across the South of England. We’re not just maintaining homes—we’re building futures, and we need someone like you to help lead the charge. In this role, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and void preparation, with the freedom to bring your ideas and experience to life. You’ll be responsible for managing our service partners and sub-contractors, ensuring the delivery of responsive repairs and void works that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll own your outcomes, monitor performance, drive efficiency, and maintain operational excellence. Working closely with the Delivery Manager, you’ll tackle challenges, celebrate wins, and maintain service continuity. What you’ll need To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience as a Supervisor in Housing Repairs & Maintenance, ideally managing contractors and service partners. A HNC or equivalent in a technical or trade-related field is desirable, as is a strong understanding of Schedule of Rates, compliance, and contract management. You should be confident managing service partner performance with both professionalism and care, comfortable with both digital systems and interpersonal communication, and able to lead with flexibility, communication, pride, trust, innovation and care.
