Our reputation has been built upon reliability and quality of service and are seeking a candidate who has a similar ethical drive to ensure we continue to develop.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo oversee and take account of the cabin cleaning operationEnsure weekly operational and people management reports are submitted within a timely mannerEffectively build and maintain a strong relationship with clients and suppliersProactively managing the operation inclusive of resource management and planningResponsible for on-site risk assessmentsManage projects parallel to one another and ensure they are completed within a timely mannerDemonstrate innovation to internal processes and procedures enabling positive change to benefit the company and clientMust be solutions focused, and have worked in a high paced environmentResponsible for ensuring SLAs are met and/or delivered above or on target expectedManagement of financial budgets in line with business development, inclusive of (but not limited to) purchase order sign offs and operational budgetsEstablish KPI gaps and reinforce training and H&S to all current and new staffEnsure the operation is in line with the required standards set by LHR airport and legislated requirementsEnsuring all company policies are adhered to by employees within the operationMotivate, allocate, supervise and performance manage the leadership teamDrive culture of excellence in customer serviceDeputise for the General Manager (as and when required)Ensure the staff remain compliant with all H&S and Airport bylaws whilst active in the operation and within the terminal areas, including the correct use of PPEAssist with any other tasks that is reasonably acceptableReport any vehicle or equipment faults as they arise and ensure they are rectified in a timely manner by liaising with the relevant companies.Oversee the vehicle and equipment maintenance contracts via regular meetings, ensuring any costs remain within budget and the vehicles meet the HAL regulationsEnsure all vehicle insurance is kept updated, PAT tests are carried out and recorded and all LOLA’s are up to dateEnsure that the team remain compliant in relation to all training requirements, including medicals, airside driving permits, vehicle driving and operating trainingRespond immediately to all accidents and report to the Senior Management Team and liaise directly with the HAL (when required)Take any action require following the assessment/investigation of any accidentsLiaise with the airport authority for any changes to vehicles, equipment, uniform etc for the teamPerson SpecificationExcellent written and spoken (face to face and phone) communication skills.Excellent numeracy skills.Ability to show initiative in developing the role and to work with minimal supervision.Ability to work flexibly in a small team, building strong day-to-day relationships with colleaguesEssentialPrevious management experience preferredValid driving licenseWilling to work flexibly when neededComputer literateExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyHigh level of commitment and flexibility requiredBenefits24/7 GP: Both you and your immediate family can speak to a UK-based GP from the comfort of your own homeMental Health support and Life Event CounselingGet Fit ProgrammeFinancial and legal supportCycle to work schemeAccess Perks at Work, our innovative employee app where you can find:Perks: discounts, gift cards, cashback, and exclusive offersLife: Search for resources and tools on topics ranging from family and life to health, money and workSupport: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisisFor more information about ABM’s benefits, visit ourAbout ABMABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
