Assistant Service Manager – Theatres and Pre‑Assessment Services Join us at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to support the expansion of Theatres, Anaesthetics and Pre‑Assessment Services. Two new theatres are coming into service, robotics surgery has been introduced, and a transformation programme is underway across peri‑operative services. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will support the Operations Manager and help deliver operational, financial and RTT targets for the centre. Key responsibilities Support the Operations Manager with day‑to‑day running of the service. Build and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure administrative processes meet high standards. Assist with troubleshooting on‑day issues, including maintenance, staffing and flow. Support departmental meetings. Lead workstreams for the theatre transformation programme. Line‑manage administrators. Assist theatre nursing teams with administrative tasks. Create and update internal processes, identifying gaps.
