Stock Controller

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent member of staff within our Energy Gas Turbines division. The Stock Controller will control and maintain stock levels within the group, in co-ordination with the Supply chain team. Primary responsibilities Develop the inventory management system D365 Manage and control stock counts and reports. Conduct daily/ weekly / monthly stock takes Continual align stock counts with system and report to finance Minimise overstocks and report to supply chain Removal of obsolete / redundant products to maximise capacity Work with Warehouse manager to handle efficient storage Ensure D365 system is up to date and stock is labelled properly. Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. Analyses daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. Manages schedules of deliveries and shipments to optimize operations. Communicates with operations team to meet business goals Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics. Work to reduce stock levels in association with procurement team Monitors demand and analyses data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
