If so, this could be the role for you… The Company A crop production business is currently seeking a Sprayer Tractor Operator to join their team. The Job Role The Sprayer Tractor Operator will work on the safe and effective application of agricultural pesticides in line with crop spray schedules. Location Northwest England Salary Package £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience Key Responsibilities Work well with stakeholders Keep accurate sprayer application records Responsible for equipment, chemicals and correct procedures are followed; sprayer cleanliness, any repairs and maintenance and safe disposal of containers Assess and identify any challenges, keep customer informedCheck cross compliance and legal standards are met Ensure safe application of pesticides Keep sprayer tickets up to date Candidate Skills and Experience Must have previous experience of operating tractors in an arable setting with ideally 3 years' minimum experience Ideally hold Sprayer Tickets PA1, 2, 6; for the right candidate training can be provided GPS System knowledge desirable A working knowledge of chemicals and understanding of COSHH A strong attention to detail and Health & Safety Basic maintenance and understanding to look after tractors and machinery High standards with cleaning out sprayers and containers Ability to manage own workload, keep accurate records and spray sheet data Flexibility to support with other jobs depending on the season Ability to work effectively with all stakeholders and be competent at discussing other products and services Experience of self-propelled crop sprayers desirable Personal Attributes Excellent Customer Service Good communicator Supportive team player Willingness to be flexible Pro‑active and can‑do attitude High standards Other Hold a valid UK Driving Licence Be flexible with working hours, particularly during peak seasons.
