We are looking for highly motivated reception administrators to join our dynamic and friendly team to work in state of the art GP Led Health Centre, rated "Outstanding " by CQC, in Pinner which is open 8am-8pm, 7days a week. We are an innovative and forward thinking EMIS practice committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. Hours are mainly Monday Friday however some weekend cover is also required. Competitive salary offered.Main duties of the jobTo provide and maintain a high standard of care for visaitors and patients as well as providing assistance to other members of the primary healthcare team.The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by a reception administrator. This will include but is not limited to the following:Toensure that all visitors, telephone callers, and patients accessing the practice are greetedprofessionally. To ensure all telephone calls are managedappropriately.To assist patients in accessing the most appropriate healthcare professional to meet their clinical need.To manage the flow of patients and patient administration queries. Pullingand filing medical records as necessary.Processing repeat prescriptions and filing for collection within48 hours.Taking home visitrequestsAdvising patients of relevant chargesfor private servicesReceiving specimens from patients ensuringall their detailshave been recorded whilstfollowing Health & Safety policy.To have a thorough knowledge of all practicepolicies and proceduresTo work in accordance of written protocolsProvide administrative supportfor clinical staff.Filing patient recordsand correspondence when necessaryOpening and distribution or practice post.Registering new patientsfollowing the Registration Protocol.Scanning of documents onto the medicalsystem. All scanningshould be cleared daily.To send lettersto patients asnecessary.Photocopying of notes and other information (inreception this includes: ensuring enough forms are printedor photocopied: consentforms, appointment card, change of details etc.).Changing details on Emiswebi.e. Change of address, telephonenumbers etc.Cover for otherteam membersmay be required for sickness and annual leave.To carry out any other duties agreed between employeeand the practice to ensure the smooth running of the practice.Person SpecificationExperienceHardworking, reliable and resourcefulAble to work under pressureAble to work in a changing environmentHonest, caring and sympatheticAdaptable, innovative, forward lookingGood sense of humourQualificationsGCSE Maths and English or equivalentQualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
