You will also carry out key screening activities with mobile students to ensure that we are delivering to the point of need. You will be the key link between school and home, providing regular updates and working to improve learning plans.**About you**You will have an exceptional understanding of what the impact of social, emotional and mental health issues have upon aspects of learning and language development and students’ abilities to be able to access the curriculum. You will be someone who has the knowledge and understanding of a range of strategies and approaches to managing and helping children with social, emotional and mental health issues and has a good understanding of the principles of child development, learning processes and barriers to learning. You will need to be a strong communicator and be able to articulate and present comprehensive and detailed reports, notes and plans. You will be solutions driven, able to keep calm under pressure and build relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues.Marlwood School is situated in South Gloucestershire, less than 20 minutes away from the heart of the cosmopolitan vibrancy of Bristol City Centre.
