Due to increasing demands across high-impact IT and infrastructure programmes, they are seeking a Cyber Security Architectural Lead to provide specialist oversight, assurance, and leadership in all areas of information risk and security architecture.THE INFORMATION SECURITY ARCHITECT ROLE:Act as the primary security architecture lead for complex IT systems and programmesDevelop and apply security architecture principles aligned with HMG, MoD, and NCSC standardsGuide solution architects on embedding security controls and designs across project lifecyclesReview and assure high/low-level solution designs for compliance and risk mitigationFacilitate system accreditations and interface with NCSC and other national authoritiesConduct technical risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and IT Health ChecksLead Security Working Groups and represent security interests in cross-functional settingsProvide leadership in embedding security architecture best practices across the wider teamINFORMATION SECURITY ARCHITECT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Strong background as a Security Architect in secure or classified environmentsDeep understanding of security frameworks, architecture methodologies, and enterprise-level security principlesExperience working with HMG, MoD, and NCSC guidance and accreditation processesDemonstrable experience in developing and assuring secure designs and technical risk assessmentsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teamsTO BE CONSIDERED:Please either apply through this advert or email me directly via ryan.baker@searchability.com.
