The Role We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Case Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of 60 residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years proven experience handling a conveyancing caseload. Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and Land Registry requirements. Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A client‑focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Proficiency in using case management systems such as LEAP and MS Office. Key Responsibilities Handle a full caseload of 60 residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, re‑mortgages, and transfers of equity. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of the entire conveyancing process and coordinate with support teams such as accounts and post‑completion. Ensure files are run in an orderly manner, kept tidy and all checklists kept up to date. Issue regular update reports to introducers/clients. Attend to office administration requests including post, filing, accounts balances and file closures. Manage workloads effectively for own team and support staff. Deal with all aspects of a sale from instruction to completion, including issuing Draft Contract papers, handling freehold and leasehold enquiries, and exchanging contracts. Manage and run a purchase file from instruction to completion under supervision. Check and report on all search results, identifying any issues. Check Mortgage Offers and report to client. Report on matters required under the UK Finance mortgage lenders’ handbook. Communicate with all contacts in a professional manner. Set up sale and purchase for completion, preparing the completion pack for signing by the relevant supervisor. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
