Customer Service Advisor – Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, ACE Directorate. Join the Corporate Customer Team delivering a high standard of customer service to the residents of Sandwell. The role involves working within our contact centre team dealing with enquiries and providing information and advice regarding a wide range of Council services. Responsibilities Take enquiries and provide information and advice on Council services Maintain accurate records of enquiries and resolutions, update customer information records Qualifications & Skills Previous experience working in a customer-facing or contact centre environment for 12 months Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional verbal communication skills and remain calm and professional Proficient in using computer systems Strong active listening skills and ability to empathise Flexibility to adapt to service needs Ability to handle diverse and challenging customers with resilience Passion for helping customers and delivering outstanding customer experiences Hours Working on a rota basis between 8.00am – 8.00pm Monday to Friday.
