Remedy Education is looking for a Exclusion Unit Manager to join their fantastic team at a lovely Secondary school in Brent.

As the Exclusion Unit Manager you will be an active member of the leadership team and will be a responsible DSO in the absence of the Head Teacher. You will provide support and nurture to the young people when they go in to crisis, supporting them to get back in to the classroom after the incident occurs.

The Exclusion Unit Manager will be participating with referrals to the school and advising on the emotional support providing solution focused recommendations.

Experience working as a Senior TA or Senior HLTA as a minimum is essential and experience of working with SEMH children / Young People would be an advantage.

This Secondary school is a based in Brent. It provides a therapeutic educational framework that promotes emotional growth alongside academic success and so encourages holistic child development.

Their educational offer is a balance of academic studies, physical and outdoor education, vocational studies, and personal development programmes. Their children are taught in very small groups or on a one to one basis.
