You will be working for the second largest provider of private healthcare in the United Kingdom.Duties and responsibilitiesPrepare the operating theatre room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum.Run a theatre list without supervision and supervise/mentor junior staff (subject to experience).Assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.You will be responsible for patient care, setting up for cases and assisting in the day to day running of theatres.Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.Who we are looking forScrub Nurse (RGN) Band 5/6 who is NMC or HCPC registered.Proactive and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisation skills; orthopaedic scrub experience in major orthopaedic cases is essential.Shift patternThere are plentiful shifts to suit your needs. Monday to Sunday, 7 days a week, including day shifts (08:30-20:00) and night shifts (20:00-08:30).
