Lead Technical Event Producer (Global Broadcast & Live Production) We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Event Producer to support executive‑level and large‑scale live events across EMEA and international regions. This position sits at the core of broadcast‑grade event delivery, combining hands‑on operating, live production management, and end‑to‑end technical ownership. Contract Length: 12 months, with potential to extend or go permanent As the lead, you will manage the technical build, delivery, and operation of digital, hybrid, and in‑person productions, including livestreams, vMix switching, multi‑camera setups, lighting, audio, fibre workflows, and full AV infrastructure. You must be able to walk into a venue with prebuilt systems or build an entire setup from the ground up—sound, lighting, internet, cameras, switching, and connectivity. Lead technical production for executive‑level events across EMEA and international locations Operate and manage vMix, livestreaming systems, multi‑camera rigs and broadcast‑quality workflows Set up and run environments including lighting (DMX), audio (Dante), video signal flows, IP data connectivity, fibre, staging and switching Build spaces from scratch including internet, AV, lighting, audio and streaming infrastructure Oversee external providers including PRG, White Light and specialist AV suppliers Manage technical run‑of‑show, production cueing and live room control Handle logistics for international travel of production equipment Work flexible hours to support production in other global time zones Manage budgets up to £500k Collaborate with US‑based global production teams Travel monthly for fast‑turnaround executive events (Paris, Dubai, Milan, etc.) Requirements: Minimum 7+ years in technical event production, broadcast, live production, film or television Expertise in cameras, lighting, audio, livestreaming, fibre and broadcast workflows Ability to operate and lead simultaneously Must be comfortable working directly with senior executives Ability to build production environments from scratch Next steps to apply: Apply now with a Word document CV or email your CV to rory@principlehr.com for immediate review.
